In a bold, unapologetic declaration rooted in the unyielding spirit of the Niger Delta struggle, the Niger Delta Youth Movement (NDYM) today issues a powerful and irresistible summons to the distinguished Honourable Churchill to immediately contest for the Bayelsa State House of Assembly seat in Southern Ijaw Constituency 1 during the forthcoming general elections.

Honourable Churchill is not just a leader; he is the living embodiment of credible, people-centred governance. With a lifestyle forged in integrity, a passion for youth empowerment that has already lit fires of ambition across our communities, and an iron-clad commitment to delivering life-changing projects, he stands as the perfect vessel for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in the creeks and riverine territories of Southern Ijaw. His hands have touched the vulnerable, his vision has uplifted the aged, and his heart beats in rhythm with the aspirations of every forgotten son and daughter of the Niger Delta.

This is not a mere request; it is a revolutionary mandate from the grassroots. Under Honourable Churchill’s fearless and dynamic leadership, Southern Ijaw Constituency 1 will no longer be defined by neglect, underdevelopment, or broken promises. We are putting our money, our energy, and our collective voice where our conviction lies — behind a man who has proven time and again that he will fight for the people, not for himself.

We stand resolute and unshakable in our confidence: Honourable Churchill OYINKEDITON, true son of the soil, patriot, and servant-leader, will answer this clarion call. The youth, the women, the elders, and the entire people of Southern Ijaw are united behind him.
