THE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST DR DENNIS OTUARO IS NOTHING BUT A CALCULATED ATTEMPT TO RUBBISH HIS ACHIEVEMENTS - GEN. OMOKO

General Omoko

The Coalition of Urhobo/Isoko Ex-Agitators Forum, Led By General Omokoh and General Oil Money has come out hard on a faceless group bent on not only tarnishing the reputation of the sole administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program, Chief Dr Dennis Otuaro PhD but also to disrupt the peace being enjoyed in the region for their selfish and sponsorers hidden agenda.
Chief Dr Dennis Otuaro PhD
In recent developments within the Niger Delta region, a significant divide has emerged surrounding the leadership of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) under Chief Dr. Dennis Otuaro. The Niger Delta Liberators and Ex-Agitators Forum has publicly called for the suspension of Otuaro, accusing him of corruption and awarding fictitious contracts. This accusation drawn attention to the complexities of governance within the ranks of militant activism and socio-economic challenges.

The Niger Delta Liberators and Ex-Agitators Forum's false claims around that Otuaro has mismanaged funds and misappropriated resources intended for the rehabilitation and reintegration of former militants. Their call for Otuaro’s suspension is unacceptable, unsubstantiated and baseless. Omoko added.

However, in stark contrast to these allegations, the Coalition of Urhobo/Isoko Ex-Agitators Forum has emerged to defend Otuaro's reputation, stating that he has been the most effective administrator of the PAP since its inception. They argue that the claims made by the Niger Delta Liberators and Ex-Agitators Forum are unfounded and politically motivated, suggesting that certain factions are sponsored to destabilize the ongoing progress achieved under Otuaro's leadership. The Coalition asserts that Otuaro's tenure has been marked by improved processes and transparency compared to his predecessors, emphasizing the need to support his initiatives rather than undermine them.

The opposing views reflect the complex dynamics within the community of ex-agitators in the Niger Delta. The region is home to a variety of groups with differing interests and narratives, and the ongoing tensions illustrate the challenges of building a cohesive front among former militants who were once united by a shared struggle against perceived injustices.

As these groups continue to navigate their positions, they must also consider the implications of their actions on the peace and stability of the region. The Urhobo/Isoko Coalition's call upon the government to disregard the accusations against Otuaro raises important questions about the role of government in addressing grievances and ensuring that the voices of genuinely aggrieved parties are not overshadowed by politically motivated agendas.
