COALITION OF NIGER DELTA EX-AGITATORS CALLS OUT SENATOR NATASHA, WARN OF DIRE CONSEQUENCES SHOULD ANYTHING HAPPENS TO AKPABIO

By Comrade Amb Victor Monday Olajide

The national leadership of the coalition of Ex-Agitators has sent a serious warning to the senator representing Kogi central at the national assembly, calling her vituperation against the senate president a mere allegation, and seeking cheap popularity.

In a statement signed and sent to our correspondent by the national leader of the movement, High Chief General Awotu Omoko warned against any further escalation of the saga.

He avarred that it is not in the turn of the South south that such frivolous drama would be tolerated. We the Coalition of Niger Delta Civil Society, led By General Prince omoko, is calling Hon  Natasha Akpoti Uduiaghe, to desist from the Ugly character she is portraiting, because we the Niger Delta people, will not take it lightly with her, if anything happens to the Senate President, because this is the first time we are enjoying the seat of the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio is a respectable man with track record of integrity. As members of the Coalition of Niger Delta Civil Society, we feel compelled to address this issue, urging Sen. Natasha to reconsider her approach and refrain from further actions that seeks to undermine the office of the senate president and by extension tarnish the reputation of a man who serves not only as a leader but as a symbol of the aspirations and integrity of the Niger Delta people.
Senator Godswill Akpabio is more than just a political figure; he is a respected leader known for his commitment to the people and his tireless efforts toward uplifting the region. His tenure as Senate President is historic and represents a significant opportunity for the Niger Delta, marking a moment where our voices can be amplified on national issues. It is crucial to acknowledge that this position is a privilege that should be celebrated rather than undermined by political squabbling.

The Coalition of Niger Delta Civil Society stands by the belief that our leaders deserve respect, regardless of differing political opinions. While robust debate is an essential part of democracy, it should never descend into personal attacks or unfounded allegations that serve only to incite division. We urge Sen. Natasha to approach her differences with Senator Akpabio with the decorum befitting a civil society and to leverage her platform for constructive dialogue rather than destructive commentary.
Moreover, we must recognize the broader implications of our political discourse. The political climate in Nigeria is fragile, and incendiary remarks can exacerbate tensions that affect not only politicians but also the constituents they serve. As advocates for peace and progress in the Niger Delta, we must prioritize the common good over personal grievances.

We, the Coalition of Niger Delta Civil Society, firmly believe that any harm to Senator Akpabio, whether physical, reputational, or political, would have detrimental effects on our region. It is essential for all stakeholders, including Sen. Natasha, to understand that the political stability of the Niger Delta is interconnected with the respect shown to its leaders. A united front will only strengthen our collective voice and ensure that the interests of our people are safeguarded.

In conclusion, we call on Sen. Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan to cease actions that may further tarnish the reputation of our Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio. Let us foster a political environment rooted in respect, integrity, and collaboration for the betterment of the Niger Delta. Together, we can build a future where our leaders are upheld and our voices are heard, ultimately paving the way for progress and unity in our beloved region.
