DEFENSE CHIEF PRAISED TINUBU'S LEADERSHIP ON 73RD BIRTHDAY MESSAGE

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, has extended warm birthday wishes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, lauding his leadership and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s security and prosperity.In a message released on Saturday, March 29, General Musa, speaking on behalf of the Service Chiefs and the entire Armed Forces, commended President Tinubu for his dedication to fostering a peaceful and prosperous nation. He attributed the improved morale of troops and recent successes in combating insurgency, terrorism, and economic sabotage to the President’s decisive leadership and support.“The successes achieved so far in the fight against insurgency, terrorism, economic sabotage, and other criminalities could not have been possible without your immense guidance and purposeful leadership,” the statement read.General Musa also highlighted the President’s efforts in providing the necessary funding, incentives, and equipment to strengthen Nigeria’s military capabilities. He reassured the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces that the military remains resolute in its constitutional duty to safeguard the nation.“As you celebrate, we are confident that the Almighty God will continue to grant you wisdom, strength, and good health to lead our country to greater heights,” he added.The Defence Chief reaffirmed the Armed Forces’ loyalty and commitment to the President’s vision of a safer Nigeria, pledging continued efforts to protect the nation and its citizens.President Tinubu, who turns 73 today, has been at the forefront of security reforms aimed at enhancing national stability and economic growth.
