Press Release: Notice of Peaceful Protest

Nigeria Police Force and the General Public

The Niger Delta Youth Movement, Abuja Chapter, announces a three-day peaceful protest scheduled for May 13th to 15th, 2025. The demonstration aims to demand the immediate arrest and prosecution of Mr. Mele Kolo Kyari, the former Group General Manager of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), over allegations of corruption and illicit enrichment.

*Demands:*

1. Immediate arrest and investigation of Mr. Mele Kolo Kyari
2. Thorough probe of his activities during his tenure at NNPC

*Request for Security:*
We respectfully request the Nigeria Police Force to provide adequate security measures during the protest to ensure a peaceful and incident-free demonstration. This will prevent potential disruptions and safeguard the rights of both protesters and the general public.

*Protest Details:*

- Date: May 13th - 16th, 2025
- Number of participants: Over 10,000 members
- Venue: Abuja, office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice 

We assure the public that our protest will be peaceful and orderly. We are committed to upholding the rights of citizens while advocating for accountability and transparency in governance.
