CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANISATIONS BOSS SALUTES CDS, OTHERS AS THEY MARK TWO YEARS IN SERVICE

The National President of the National Council for Civil Society Organisations (NACCSO) and Vision-One Leadership Development Initiative (VOLDI), *Rt. Comrade Emmanuel Johnny*, has extended his commendations to the *Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General CG Musa, OFR*, and other service chiefs, as they mark two years in office.
Comrade Johnny described the two-year service of the CDS as a period of remarkable achievements for the Nigerian military, attributing the success to General Musa's quality leadership. Under his stewardship, the military has been repositioned for efficiency, transparency, and professionalism in discharging its constitutional responsibilities of protecting the nation's territorial integrity.
The civil society leader applauded the CDS for maintaining effective civil-military relations, a crucial factor in fostering trust and cooperation between the military and the citizenry. He called on Nigerians to continue supporting the military in its endeavors, emphasizing that collective efforts are essential to achieving optimal results in national security and development.
Comrade Johnny also expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing and working with highly competent officers as service chiefs. He noted that the President's leadership and strategic appointments have contributed significantly to the military's effectiveness and professionalism.
As the CDS and other service chiefs celebrate their milestone, Comrade Johnny's commendation underscores the importance of collaborative efforts between the military, government, and civil society in advancing Nigeria's interests and promoting national stability.
