The project, which connects Shehu Shagari Way (Ring Road 1) to Wole Soyinka Way (Arterial Road N20) and includes additional access roads within the Katampe District, marks a major milestone in the administration's efforts to improve the FCT's transportation infrastructure.

The multi-billion naira project is a testament to the government's renewed push for modern, efficient, and accessible transportation networks across the FCT under the Tinubu-Wike administration.

Located in the G̱isiri – Katampe axis, the project is being executed by CGC Nigeria Limited, a reputable construction company. The road's completion is expected to significantly improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents and commuters in the area.
The commissioning of the N16 Arterial Road project is part of the government's broader efforts to transform Abuja into a modern and well-planned city. The project demonstrates the administration's commitment to investing in critical infrastructure that supports economic growth, improves the quality of life for citizens, and enhances the nation's capital city's global competitiveness.

The project's impact will be multifaceted. It will not only improve access to key areas of the city but also stimulate economic activity, create jobs, and increase the value of properties in the surrounding areas. Furthermore, the project will serve as a model for future infrastructure development in the FCT, showcasing the government's commitment to delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of its citizens.

In conclusion, the commissioning of the N16 Arterial Road project is a significant step towards transforming Abuja's infrastructure landscape. As the project nears completion, it is expected to have a lasting impact on the city's transportation network, economy, and quality of life for its residents.
