SYLVESTER AIGBOBOH CONGRATULATES SENATOR MONDAY OKPEBHOLO ON SUPREME COURT VICTORY, URGES EDOLITES TO UNITE BEHIND GOVERNOR'S VISION

The Edo State All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy Chairman, Sir Sylvester AIGBOBOH, has expressed hearty congratulations to the State Governor and leader of the party in the State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on his well-deserved Supreme Court victory, which has brought final closure to all litigations challenging his election as the Executive Governor of Edo State.

The felicitations, contained in a congratulatory message by Sir Sylvester AIGBOBOH, also assured that the victory has now cleared the coast for the full implementation and delivery of the SHINE PROJECT Agenda for Edolites.
The statement reads:

“Your Excellency, our leader, it is with overwhelming happiness, satisfaction, and a huge sense of relief that the entire APC family in Edo State offers our unreserved congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo, and our dear Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, on the well-deserved election appeal victory at the highest court in the land, the Supreme Court.

“We applaud the judiciary once again for their undoubted consistency and conviction, right from the Elections Petitions Tribunal, in maintaining an unwavering position on the result of the September 21, 2024, Governorship election in our State, and this final judgment is an irreversible affirmation of the decision of Edo masses to vote landslide for Senator Monday as their duly elected Governor.

“Recall that we had offered the olive branch and extended our hand of collective partnership to our fellow brothers by urging them to reconsider any further challenge after the Appeal Court verdict, but to God be all the glory that we have now triumphed beyond all petitions, appeals, and litigations over election matters, and we are still magnanimous in our desire to carry every willing party along as we move to deliver more dividends of democracy to Edo's people.

“We, therefore, want to at this juncture and with profound respect and humility express our deep and unreserved appreciation to all our elders and leaders for their steadfastness, unwavering commitment, and unshakable resolve to stand firmly and solidly behind Senator Monday Okpebholo and indeed stay the course with him and the APC Family from the very beginning of this journey to this final point of unassailable victory.

“Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to our teeming supporters who exhibited unparalleled love and unambiguous support against all odds and obstacles for the APC and our collective effort and objective to sustain and consolidate the fortunes of our party in Edo State.

“God bless you all.

“There is absolutely no doubt that our dear Governor Monday Okpebholo and his able Deputy, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, have already performed beyond all positive and practical expectations, shocked their cynical detractors, and pleasantly surprised teeming to loyalists and supporters by delivering a steady, astute, balanced, determined, and focused leadership excellence within the short period they have been at the helm of Edo State administration.

“The hallmarks of progressive leadership in all sectors—Infrastructural, Health, Education, Welfare, Sports, Peace and Security, and even Humanitarian affairs amongst others—have all been greeted with unanimous acceptance and widespread endorsement, as the SHINE PROJECT Agenda continues to be systematically implemented with strategic, surefooted enthusiasm.

“With this election victory finally decided by the Supreme Court, Governor Monday Okpebholo will be greatly motivated now to continue the impressive work of bringing SHINE PROJECT agenda dividends of democracy to our people, and His Excellency, in line with his large-hearted brotherliness, which has already been amply exhibited by his all-encompassing and accommodating politics without bitterness disposition, will desire for all well-meaning Edolites to embrace his progressive altruism and join hands with him to consolidate on doing the SHINE PROJECT agenda and giving IMPACT Agenda as we now move full throttle towards taking Edo State to the next higher level in the interest of all Edolites.
