COURTESY VISIT TO SOLE ADMINISTRATOR OF RIVERS STATE

By Comrade Amb Victor Monday Olajide

Today, I paid a courtesy visit to the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Admiral Ibok‑Ete Ekwe Ibas (Rtd.), at the Government House in Port Harcourt.

Our engagement was both strategic and reassuring. I briefed him on the outcome of my inspection tour of critical NDDC projects across the state — the Kaa-Ataba Road and Bridge, the Okrika-Borikiri Bridge, and the Niger Delta Regional Hospital.

These projects are not just about infrastructure — they are about healing decades of neglect, reconnecting communities, boosting local economies, and restoring hope to the people of the Niger Delta.

I deeply appreciate Admiral Ibas for his warm reception and for the peaceful atmosphere his leadership has sustained in Rivers State. Peace remains the bedrock for progress, and I commend his commitment to stability and partnership.

Together, under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we are building a legacy of inclusive development — one project, one community at a time.
