A BILL FOR AN ACT TO ESTABLISH FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY COLLEGE OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY GWAGWALADA TO TRAIN AND CERTIFY NURSING PERSONNEL IN FIELDS OF CARDIOVASCULAR NURSING, DERMATOLOGY, GYNAECOLOGY, NEPHROLOGY, PEDIATRIC, ORTHOPAEDIC, PUBLIC HEALTH, NEONATAL, GERIATRIC, MENTAL HEALTH, CRITICAL CARE, EMERGENCY, AND ALLIED SCIENCES AND FOR RELATED MATTERS, 2025

The College shall teach, examine, training and conduct research in Nursing, Midwifery, Health Sciences and other specialities of Nursing leading to the award of Professional Certificate, Diplomas, Higher National Diploma, other Post Basic Certificates and such other courses as may be approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and National Board for Technical Education.

Provide avenues for continuing education in Nursing, Midwifery, Health Sciences and other related specialities of Nursing.

Provide such services that are necessary and incidental to the objects of the College.
