Amina Isyaku Ibrahim Launches Foundation to Honour Her Father’s Legacy and empower youths in Mangar community

Amina Isyaku Ibrahim has officially launched the Alhaji Isyaku Ibrahim Foundation, (AiIF) - a new initiative focused on edu
cation and community development in Mangar community, Nasarawa State, North Central Nigeria.

The Foundation honours the life and legacy of Alhaji Isyaku Ibrahim, (1838-2025), a respected nation builder, business tycoon and influencial figure in Nigerian political affairs - Born in Mangar, he rose from humble beginnings to become a self-made millionaire and a prominent voice in Nigerian politics and national discourse.

“As his daughter, I feel a deep responsibility to continue his legacy of service and belief in the power of education." Said Amina Isyaku Ibrahim, founder and governor of the foundation.

"This is a living mission to empower others—starting in the very place where my father’s journey began.”

The Foundation’s inaugural initiative is a scholarship program for two aspiring students- one female and one male- from Mangar community, each will receive ₦250,000 per academic year to pursue a full undergraduate degree (up to 5 years) at Nasarawa State University, Keffi. 
In return, each foundation awarded pledges to give back after graduation, helping build the future where their story begun.

“This isn’t just about funding education,” Amina added. “It’s about creating a cycle of advancement, empowerment - where knowledge returns home and builds the future.

Alhaji Isyaku Ibrahim Foundation Sponsorship Program opens on 16th September and closed 30th September at 8pm.
