PANDEF Vehemently Disavows Fabricated NDDC Protest, Issues Stern Warning Against Misappropriation of Its Name to Fuel Anarchy

In a resolute stand against orchestrated discord, the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has unequivocally repudiated any contrived demonstration targeting the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), delivering a forceful admonition against the illicit exploitation of its esteemed name to sow seeds of public turmoil or exacerbate regional fissures.
Addressing the media with unyielding authority in Abuja, PANDEF's FCT Chairman, Chief Premier David Bello, underscored the organization's unassailable integrity as a disciplined and accountable entity, fortified by robust internal frameworks for fostering harmony and arbitrating disputes.
"As the vanguard of PANDEF's FCT chapter, I emphatically declare that our forum stands as a bastion of order and responsibility, equipped with proven mechanisms for peacebuilding and conflict resolution," Bello proclaimed. "In instances of legitimate grievances, we mandate adherence to established avenues of discourse, reconciliation, and adjudication."
He lambasted any propensity toward chaotic behavior or rogue initiatives, imperatively directing disaffected elements within the Niger Delta to harness preexisting platforms for negotiation rather than succumb to disruptive protests that jeopardize communal advancement and regional solidarity.
"PANDEF staunchly opposes anarchy and autonomous insurgencies," he asserted. "We compel any aggrieved faction in our Niger Delta kinship to invoke these protocols, eschewing demonstrations that erode our shared trajectory toward prosperity."
Chief Bello further extolled the exemplary stewardship of PANDEF's National Chairman, Ambassador Godknows Igali, portraying it as a paradigm of inclusivity and openness.
"I reaffirm with conviction that our National Chairman, Ambassador Godknows Igali, embodies an ethos of accessibility and dialogue," he declared. "His leadership is a beacon of equitable engagement, welcoming authentic concerns from all strata of stakeholders with unwavering commitment to pacific resolutions."
Regarding the Niger Delta Development Commission, the PANDEF FCT Chairman lauded the vigorous endeavors under Managing Director Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, insisting that principled collaboration constitutes the paramount strategy for surmounting lingering challenges.
"We salute the dynamic initiatives propelling the NDDC forward under Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku's command," Bello affirmed, adding with emphatic resolve: "The NDDC thrives robustly under Dr. Ogbuku's helm—no subterfuge or diversion shall impede his mandate."
In a corroborative communiqué entitled "Addendum to Disclaimer on Purported Protest Against the MD of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)," the PANDEF FCT Youth Wing categorically severed ties with any envisaged agitation against the commission.
Comrade Mrs. Nkechi Judith Emmanuel, Financial Secretary of the PANDEF FCT Youth Wing, avowed complete solidarity with the antecedent disavowal from the leadership.
"As the vanguard of Niger Delta youth, we are convinced that enduring progress demands an unbreachable fortress of tranquility, equilibrium, and proactive discourse," she asserted.
She unequivocally disassociated the youth cadre from the alleged protest, denouncing it as antithetical to their unified ethos and aspirations.
"We categorically renounce any sham protest against the Niger Delta Development Commission, as such machinations betray the consensual will and vital interests of the PANDEF FCT Youth Wing," Emmanuel proclaimed.
Voicing unwavering faith in the incumbent regime, she heralded Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku's administration as a testament to revitalized transparency, inclusive stakeholder involvement, and transformative growth in the Niger Delta.
"As the youth vanguard, we champion discourse over discord and alliance over sabotage," she exhorted, rallying all actors to bolster the prevailing NDDC leadership in fortifying its reformative agenda.
The PANDEF FCT Youth Wing, she concluded, endures as an indomitable coalition "united for peace, accountability, and sustainable development in Nigeria."
