We, the undersigned coalition of esteemed groups, organizations, and concerned citizens representing diverse communities in Rivers State, write with profound respect and unwavering patriotism to reaffirm our steadfast support for your visionary leadership and the transformative agenda of your administration.

Since assuming office, Your Excellency has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to fostering **national unity**, advancing **inclusive governance**, and driving sustainable development across all regions of our great nation. We particularly commend the strategic appointments you have made to critical positions in the federal executive, judiciary, parastatals, and other key institutions. These decisions reflect a deliberate effort to ensure broad representation and harness the collective talents of Nigerians in service of our shared prosperity.

We are especially appreciative of the recognition extended to individuals from Rivers State, including notable appointments from the Ogoni ethnic nationality. Such measures underscore your administration's sensitivity to historical inequities and its dedication to redressing imbalances in national resource allocation and opportunity distribution.

Nevertheless, in the spirit of constructive engagement and our shared aspiration for enduring peace, equity, and harmonious coexistence in Rivers State—and by extension, the Niger Delta region—we humbly and respectfully invite Your Excellency's gracious consideration of a matter of pressing importance: the need for **enhanced and balanced representation** of the Ijaw people of Rivers State in key federal appointments.

The Ijaw constitute one of the most prominent and populous ethnic groups in Rivers State, particularly in its riverine areas, which span a significant portion of the state's geography and contribute substantially to Nigeria's economic lifeline through oil and gas production. Fair and proportionate inclusion of qualified Ijaw sons and daughters in strategic national roles would not only align with the demographic realities of Rivers State but also reinforce the principles of federal character, justice, and equity that your administration has consistently championed.

This appeal is rooted in our deep-seated belief that **true national unity** is best achieved when all major communities feel meaningfully represented and invested in the nation's progress. Inclusive governance strengthens social cohesion, mitigates potential tensions, and unlocks the full potential of our diverse peoples to contribute to economic revitalization, security enhancement, and infrastructural development—core pillars of your Renewed Hope Agenda.

We remain resolute in our support for the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government and your bold policies aimed at restoring macroeconomic stability, combating insecurity, promoting agricultural and industrial growth, and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach every corner of Nigeria. We are confident that, under your astute guidance, mechanisms will continue to evolve to guarantee equitable participation and benefit-sharing for all ethnic nationalities and geopolitical zones.

We therefore earnestly urge Your Excellency to kindly consider appointing eminently qualified individuals of Ijaw extraction from Rivers State to appropriate high-level positions in the ongoing and future rounds of federal appointments. Such a gesture would further cement your legacy as a unifying leader who prioritizes fairness, merit, and national harmony.
