It is with profound humility and immense gratitude that I express my deepest appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the renewed expression of trust and confidence in my capabilities. By redeploying me to serve as Honourable Minister of State in the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, the President has once again demonstrated visionary leadership and a steadfast commitment to deploying the nation's finest talents where they can deliver the greatest impact for our people.

I am profoundly honoured by this appointment and fully embrace the responsibilities it entails. In this pivotal role, I pledge unwavering dedication to advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda — an ambitious blueprint for economic transformation, inclusive prosperity, and sustainable development that is already reshaping Nigeria's future. My focus will remain laser-sharp on driving measurable, tangible outcomes that directly improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians: from more efficient resource allocation and strategic fiscal planning to accelerated implementation of priority projects that foster job creation, infrastructure growth, and broad-based economic resilience.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Taiwo Oyedele on his well-deserved nomination as Honourable Minister of State for Finance. His renowned expertise in fiscal policy and tax reform positions him ideally to build on the strong foundations already laid and to steer Nigeria toward a more robust, equitable, and globally competitive financial framework. I wish him a seamless confirmation process and every success as he assumes this critical portfolio.

As we forge ahead, I look forward to close collaboration with the Honourable Minister, His Excellency Senator Abubakar Bagudu, the dedicated leadership and staff of the Ministry, and stakeholders across all levels of government, the private sector, and civil society. Together, we will strengthen institutional synergies between planning, budgeting, and execution; enhance coordination across federal, state, and local tiers; and accelerate inclusive, people-centered growth that leaves no Nigerian behind.

This redeployment is more than a change of portfolio — it is a strategic realignment in service of our collective national aspirations.
