Hon. Dr. Billy Adesuwa Famous Osawaru Congratulates Newly Elected and Inaugurated Edo State APC Executives Led by Emperor Jarret Tenebe

Benin City, March 3, 2026 – The Honourable Member representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Adesuwa Famous Osawaru, has extended warm and heartfelt congratulations to Emperor Jarret Tenebe and the entire newly elected and inaugurated State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State.

Hon. Osawaru particularly commended the peaceful, orderly, and affirmative conduct of the State Congress, which he described as a powerful testament to the party's deepening internal cohesion, democratic resilience, and institutional maturity. He hailed the resounding affirmation and re-election of the dynamic and resolute Emperor Jarret Tenebe as State Chairman, the return of the energetic and committed Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh as substantive Vice Chairman, and the strategic emergence of Engr. Lawrence Okah as State Secretary, together with other distinguished members of the committee.

Drawing on their proven track record, Hon. Osawaru expressed strong confidence that the collective wealth of experience, unwavering loyalty, exceptional capacity, and steadfast dedication of these leaders to the party's progressive ideals will significantly fortify the APC's organisational structure in Edo State and propel it toward greater political dominance and effectiveness.

He stressed that true leadership in a forward-looking party like the APC must be firmly rooted in unity of purpose, discipline, selfless service, and an unyielding commitment to the welfare of the people. A political party achieves its greatest strength, he affirmed, when its members unite in voice, align in heart, and pursue a singular, shared vision of sustainable development and shared prosperity for all.

Hon. Osawaru expressed full confidence that, under the stewardship of this capable and united executive team, the Edo State APC is well-positioned to realise its ambitious goals and deliver meaningful impact. He therefore called on all party faithful across the state to close ranks without delay, subordinate personal ambitions to the collective good, and rally solidly behind the State Working Committee. Internal harmony and solidarity, he emphasised, remain the indispensable foundation for electoral success, enduring victories, and effective governance.

The federal lawmaker reaffirmed his readiness to collaborate closely and constructively with the State Working Committee in advancing the party's agenda. In particular, he pledged his full support toward mobilising and delivering the pledged 3.5 million votes for His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in line with the commitment made by the visionary and people-oriented Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo.

In conclusion, Hon. Osawaru prayed that Almighty God grant the members of the State Working Committee robust health, clarity of vision, enduring wisdom, and unbreakable unity of purpose as they lead the charge to fulfil the mandate entrusted to them and secure a brighter, more prosperous future for Edo State and Nigeria.
