The Heart That Touches Lives — Restoring Confidence, Delivering Impact, and Anchoring Renewed Hope

We, the leadership and entire membership of the APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IGG) and the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027, Taraba State Chapter, hereby reaffirm with absolute conviction our unalloyed support, unshakeable confidence, and full endorsement of our distinguished son, pride of Southern Taraba, and proven performer — Distinguished Senator David S.U. Jimkuta, CON, the Senator representing Taraba South Senatorial District.

Senator Jimkuta is not merely a Senator. He is the living embodiment of the politics of impact — “The Heart That Touches Lives.” From the moment he defeated a sitting governor in one of the most decisive upsets of the 2023 elections, he has rewritten the meaning of representation in Taraba South. Through purposeful legislation, unprecedented grassroots empowerment, youth and women upliftment, and the deliberate attraction of real development to the five local governments of Donga, Ibi, Takum, Ussa and Wukari, he has restored hope where despair once lingered and confidence where cynicism once ruled.

In the spirit of party loyalty, progressive unity and collective progress, Senator Jimkuta has remained a steadfast pillar of the All Progressives Congress in Taraba State. He has openly declared and consistently lived out three non-negotiable commitments:

Total Support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR  
Senator Jimkuta is a firm and vocal believer in the Renewed Hope Agenda. He stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Mr President in the bold, necessary reforms designed to reposition Nigeria for lasting prosperity, food security and national dignity.

Total Support for Governor Agbu Kefas 
As a progressive and patriotic Taraban who places Taraba First, Senator Jimkuta fully supports the administration of His Excellency, Dr Agbu Kefas, in the shared pursuit of peace, unity, infrastructure renewal and people-centred development across our dear State.

Total Support for All APC Candidates 
Senator Jimkuta is irrevocably committed to the victory of every APC candidate in Taraba State and across Nigeria in 2027 — from the President to Governors, Senators, Members of the House of Representatives and Members of the State Houses of Assembly. He understands that the future of progressive governance depends on collective success.

His record speaks louder than any slogan. From multi-billion-naira empowerment programmes that placed cars, tricycles, motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines, irrigation equipment and farm inputs directly into the hands of ordinary citizens, to international scholarships that opened doors for dozens of Taraba youths to study abroad, to the sponsorship of transformative bills establishing a Federal University in Wukari and a Federal College of Fisheries and Aquaculture in Ibi, Senator Jimkuta has turned representation into tangible results. He has expanded access to education, pushed for rural electrification, championed agricultural revival and stood with communities in moments of insecurity.

We therefore call on every lover of good governance, every progressive, every youth, every woman, every farmer and every stakeholder in Taraba South, across Taraba State and throughout Nigeria to continue to stand firmly with Senator David S.U.
