Comrade Victor Monday Olajide Communiqué on the Federal Appointees Strategic Summit   Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation   16th September 2026 In a stirring charge that echoed the resolve of a nation rising, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, CON, has commanded Ministers, Special Advisers, Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers of Federal Government Agencies to launch an unrelenting, nation-wide campaign of strategic communication — to proclaim, without apology or hesitation, the historic achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, under the transformative Renewed Hope Agenda. Declaring open the Federal Appointees Strategic Summit in Abuja on Wednesday, 16th September 2026, Senator Akume framed the gathering not as a routine meeting, but as a decisive moment of national reckoning and recommitment. He described it as a critical platform for taking stock of the administration’s...

By Meabe Silas Among the distinguished guests gathered at the Sheraton Hotel in Abuja for the unveiling of Imperative of State Police in Nigeria, one figure stood apart—not by volume, but by the quiet weight of accomplishment. Mr. Henry Imasekha—Chartered Accountant, banking veteran, and telecommunications pioneer—embodied the rare intersection of institutional excellence and national security discourse. His career began in 1982 at International Merchant Bank, where he built deep expertise across credit, marketing, corporate banking, investment banking, and treasury. He later rose to Executive Director of Investment Banking and then Corporate Banking at the newly privatised United Bank for Africa. As a founding director and key promoter of Econet Wireless Nigeria (now Airtel), he helped pioneer mobile telephony in the country. Today, as co-founder of CYBERSOC Africa Limited, he leads a cybersecurity firm that protects major banks, the Central Bank of Nigeria, an...

Amb. Victor Monday  10/09/26 For over 34 years, Engr. Tukur M. Lawal has stood where results are demanded and excuses are not tolerated. Born and raised in Funtua, Katsina State, he has never been a spectator in Nigeria’s story. He has been a builder, a reformer, and a fighter for progress — in boardrooms, in factories, in classrooms, and in the communities that produce the real wealth of this nation. By Victor Monday Olajide  17th August, 2026 These appointments, effective immediately, confer upon Takori the exalted role of Political Adviser, upon Ilo the critical mandate of Chief Technical Adviser (CTA), and upon Nwosu the vital responsibility of Spokesperson. Announced through an official statement issued by the NDC National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, Esq., this masterstroke is deliberately calibrated to fortify the operational excellence, administrative coherence, and strategic communication surrounding Senator Dickson — both in his towering capacity as National Leader of the NDC and as a distinguished serving Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. As the Nigeria Democratic Congress consolidates its organisational foundations and intensifies preparations for the epochal 2027 general elections, these appointments stand as a clear demonstration of the party’s resolve to assemble the finest minds and most tested hands in service of a credible, progressi...

By Comrade Amb Victor Monday Olajide  In a defining moment for Nigeria’s democratic conscience, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson — former Governor of Bayelsa State, steadfast National Leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and enduring standard-bearer of principled opposition politics — issued a clarion call that cuts through the fog of transactional power and restores the moral architecture of public life. Addressing a historic reunion of former leaders and associates of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Abuja under the resonant theme “Reclaiming Our Moral Mandate: A National Democratic Conversation for a Reborn Polity,” Dickson summoned the nation to abandon the corrosive politics of cash and convenience and return, with urgency and conviction, to the politics of ideas, sacrifice, integrity, and service. This was no ordinary gathering of nostalgic veterans. It was a deliberate act of political reclamation — a gathering of the generation that helpe...
