Image

Of all the wonders that I yet have heard, It seems to me most strange that men should fear; Seeing that death, a necessary end, Will come when it will come.” ― William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar President Goodluck Jonathan will not be the first President to be reelected after defeat as an incumbent. However, he could probably be the first to cower in fear in the face of another clear, good-luck chance to be reelected as the 17th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is time for Goodluck Jonathan to get back at his detractors who hounded him out of office despite his avowed commitment to national unity and entrenchment of enduring democratic values in Nigeria. That's not being 'foolish' and laid back, it's a show of strength and courage as a leader to make sacrificial decisions against self in the national interest.  ...

Some news outlets have irresponsibly twisted the Vice President's account of how the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan floated the idea of removing him from office, then as governor of Borno State, in the most intense and critical phase of insurgency in the North East region of the country. I reported on the tribunal sitting and told the world that the petitioner would lose and it happened. I also said the same at the Appeal Court and advised Asue Ighodalo to im...
