PUBLIC NOTICE: PAP Scholarship Is Free Dr. Otuaro PhD

Image
By Comrade Amb Victor Monday Olajide, Abuja The Presidential Amnesty Programme wishes to reiterate that its scholarship scheme is free of charge. The PAP, once again, alerts members of the public, particularly, Niger Deltans, that the scholarship application process for undergraduate and post-graduate programmes does not involve payment of money. The PAP does not accept money or encourage same in exchange for services, including the placement of successful applicants in institutions for admissions in any academic year. This clarification has, again, become necessary following complaints to the Office of the Administrator, Dr Dennis Otuaro, that some unscrupulous PAP stakeholders and dubious individuals are allegedly collecting money from parents and guardians with all sorts of fake assurances of admissions. We have warned against this fraudulent act before now. No applicant, parent or guardian should pay money to anybody for the PAP scholarship programme. If you pay money t...

RE: False and Misleading Report on Food Distribution Programme in Doma

Image
By Abdullahi Abubakar Our attention has been drawn to a mischievous and fabricated report authored by one Rabiu Omaku alleging that there was a stampede, fainting of women, and mismanagement during the food and cash distribution programme organized by the immediate past Inspector General of Police, Retired IGP Mohammed Adamu Abubakar, in Doma. We categorically state that the report is false, baseless, and a deliberate attempt to malign the reputation of the former IGP for cheap political gain. The programme, which was organized wife of the former Inspector-General of Police, ended in good faith, was well-coordinated and peacefully conducted under the watch of security agencies in Doma. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude and appreciation for the kind gesture, and at no point did any individual lose her life. Also, the cash token given by wife of the ex-IGP Boss herself was N3,000, not N10,000, and no cash was put in an envelope, as falsely reported.  It is unfortunate tha...
